Myhre/Kongsness is the two dance artists Ingrid Berger Myhre and Ann-Christin Berg Kongsness in collaboration.
They started working together in 2012, and after being hosted in various residencies in Europe during 2013, they decided to go for it. Latest Notes is their first production, in which they have invited Lasse Passage and Alex Zakkas to join them in the making.
In this performance we look at the gaps and proximities,
between what is said and what is done.
Shuffling around on four basic parameters –
what we know, what we don’t know, what we see
and what we don’t see – we’re interested in how the context
influence our perception of what is at stake.
We do this by writing notes.
We give the notes to one another.
Sometimes we do what the note says.
We are trying to be deceivingly honest about this.
What you will see is a collection of our latest notes.
We want to be precise in our openness.
And we are trying to not say much about you. We might deviate.
But nothing is out of the blue and freedom is right out the window.
It’s difficult to say something specific and yet not giving away too much.
Anyway, we will walk each other through.
