LATERNA invites you to a festival with talks, workshops and performances!
Here we will think together, re-evaluate old truths, sense and share ideas about new ways of coexisting and understanding the world. Welcome to five days of reflection, listening and wondering towards a new future.
The festival Hidden Connections – Visible Ecologies is curated by LATERNA, and inspired by both new and ancient understandings of life and matter. The festival will be a place where we can cultivate the collective and explore changes and challenges that our time is callingfor. In the future, can we enter into completely different relationships in a more-than-human world?
Each day will have a main subject under the same umbrella. A number of artists and contributors will participate, such as Julia Adzuki, Dohee Lee, Iris Müller Westermann, Robert Steijn, Lisa Jeannin, Keith Hennessy, Liv Kristin Holmberg, Margrethe Pettersen, Ivana Müller, Sara Rõnnbäck, Daniel Slåttnes, Lilach Livne and others.
LATERNA is Inger-Reidun Olsen and Marianne Skjeldal. Both are choreographers, dance and performance artists. They work in various formats in performance art involving bodies in dialogue with place, history, materials and sound.
