Episode #14: On plasticity
A conversation between Rosalind Goldberg and Kaja Jenssen Rathe
The final podcast episode this Fall season deals with the French philosopher Catherine Malabou's concept of plasticity. The recording is an excerpt from a conversation which took place in the foyer of Black Box teater on 30 October, 2020.
Choreographer Rosalind Goldberg (who premiered with the performance The Field this October) and philosopher Kaja Jenssen Rathe met in a conversation about how they – in different ways – have approached the concept of plasticity. What does Malabou's concept really mean, and what significance has plasticity further had on their practices?
Due to infection control restrictions, we had limited capacity during the conversation at Black Box teater. Therefore, we are very happy to make it available to more people – through our podcast! Have a good listen!
