“You would have to be shrivelled, mentally, dehydrated or unbelievably blasé not to get carried away by this “children’s theater” … Woof! Art cannot be told. It must be experienced.” Varden

“Sagliocco proves that it is absolutely possible to combine stand-up, slap-stick, art and pedagogy – without compromising any of the elements.” Dagsavisen

Sometimes dogs look like humans,
sometimes humans look like dogs.

Voff! Art (Woof! Art) is an art history lecture for kids and adults. The lecturer, Jeanette, is passionate about two things; art and dogs. She has been commissioned to make her first lecture tour for a cultural project. The works she has selected are among the most important in art history; all have at least one dog in them. Her review is a humorous journey through art history – wonderfully free of logic and other confusing contexts.

Voff! Art premiered in 2008, and since then has been performed more than a thousand times at home and abroad, received the Momix Award and been nominated for Gullsekken (the Gold Backpack) for best Production of the Year. The performance at Black Box teater will be the first time it is shown to an audience in Oslo outside Den Kulturelle Skolesekken.
