Too Late! (antigone) contest # 2

23.–25. mars 2012

"For me, the biggest revelation this year is the ferocious Italian company Motus, whose Too Late! antigone (contest #2) takes a series of well-worn parts (acting school animal exercises, modern spin on a classic text, meta-commentary) and plays them with such abandon and skill that they feel fresh" New York Times

"..there are certain rare images that you know will stay with you forever. This was one of them. MOTUS’s Too Late! was, for me, a completely exhilarating and involving theatrical experience" New York Theater Review

With the greek tragedy Antigone as its catalyst, the play sees the characters drawn into a merciless set of challenges. Together they amplify power games between fathers and sons, dictators and servants; with a pointed reference to the current decay of European politics.
