Black Box teater turns 40 in 2025, and we invite you to our anniversary celebration in the Foyer on Friday, November 7!

● 18.00 / Doors Open & Welcome
Be welcomed by our host, Lola, who will guide us through the evening. We kick off the party with refreshments, speeches, and mingling.

● 19.00–20.00 / Anniversary Talk: Black Box teater 40 Years – A Decade Perspective
Black Box teater opened on November 7, 1985. To mark the anniversary, we have invited artists from five decades for a conversation. We have selected artists who premiered closest to the opening date in 1985, 1995, 2005, 2015, and 2025.

The conversation is a premise for a collective remembrance where we will:

• Reminisce about their time at the theatre and the specific performance they were in.
• Reflect on what characterized the performing arts and the contemporary scene during that respective decade.
• Draw parallels and look back at the past to understand the current performing arts landscape.

Join us for a nostalgic look back at the history of the theatre and the art!

We serve finger food (snitter) and anniversary cake in the Foyer. A perfect opportunity to mingle!

● 21.00–22.00 / Concert
Check out the surprise concert on the Lille Scene (Small Stage), or continue the conversation in the Foyer.

● 22.00–01.00 / DJ Morstaq 
DJ Morstaq takes over the decks on the Lille Scene and guarantees a great atmosphere. The party continues until closing time!
