We find ourselves in a surreal, absurd, and post-catastrophic world. After many years of wars and conflicts that have left the cities in ruins, the state, in an attempt to control the chaos, has introduced a strict democratic system. All citizens are required to participate in trials concerning the many aspects of everyday life, either as jury members or as defendants. The aim is to ensure collective involvement in decisions regarding those the state considers a potential threat to society’s security.

The audience is given VR headsets and a controller, and enters the experience as members of the jury – side by side with the virtual characters.

Before The SUN Disappears Again / Part 1 – Rett Ved Sak is an interactive and immersive theatre project that merges physical and virtual realities. The performance is inspired by the concept of Lucid Dream – a state that occurs during REM sleep, when one is aware of dreaming and can partially control the actions within the dream.
