Workshop for children: Kriker og Kroker
With Karoline Bakken Lund, Veronica Bruce and Jennie Bergsli.
25 January / 15.00-15.55 / Foyer. Free admission. Age 7-12

Children are invited to take part in a creative, station-based workshop that explores textiles and movement. Playfully and spontaneously, we will put together our own performance. The workshop does not require any prior skills to participate.

Karoline Bakken Lund, Veronica Bruce and Jennie Bergsli work with textiles, sculpture, choreography and dance. This spring, they collaborate on the performance Bløtkokt – a project where the disciplines and methods are intersected. During this workshop for children, Lund, Bruce and Bergsli will share some of their interdisciplinary practices and site-specific approach.

Dance workshop: Energetic Icons
With the Every Body Electric team
25. January / 16.00-16.40 / Lille Scene. Free admission. Children +8 and adults

In this workshop, the team of Every Body Electric – presented on January 25–26 at Black Box teater – will share their research on movement. Each body has its own specific way of articulating its dynamics. Movements become a kind of endogenous fuel. During the workshop we will search for individual and collective movements which allow the body to become charged. What other possibilities open up when, for example wheelchairs, prostheses or crutches are staged as extensions to the body? Personal rhythms, dynamics, beats and bodily characteristics lead to unique dance styles. Every Body Welcome!

Reading and book signing with Caspar Eric
Reading
+ Open soup kitchen
25 January / 17.30-18.30 / Foyer. Free admission.

Caspar Eric will read from his poem collection Nike, and then sign books.

Since his debut in 2014 with the poem collection 7/11, the Danish author Caspar Eric has become a poem-comet in Denmark and Norway. His artistic work is a clear voice from his generation, where he mixes the personal and the political in texts that zeros out the gap between pop culture and classical art. He has released four poem collections, a theater text and has formed the band INTET ALTID together with Mikkel Grevsen.

Season Opening Celebration: Presentation of the program & DJ set with Doris Uhlich
25 January / 20.00 / Foyer. Free admission.

We celebrate the opening of a new season! Welcome to presentation of the spring program, buffé and DJ-set with Doris Uhlich from Every Body Electric. Uhlich will play a selection of his favorite techno tracks from the last years. Expect a mix dedicated to technoid body music, exploring zones of sound experimentation and dance floor celebration.
